Salem Gugai  Thakkali thokku

Ingredients:

1)Tomatoes--5
2)Fenugreek seeds- 1tsp
3)Jeera seeds-1.5 tsp
4)ginger-grated 2 to 3 tsp
4)Gingelley oil--1 Tblsp
5)mustard seeds-1tsp
6)Chilly Powder--2 to 3 tsp(According to the spiciness)

Procedure:

1)blanch the tomatoes(Take water, when it boils add the tomatoes, when it starts to scratch switch off the stove, Grind the tomatoes in a mixie )
2)Dry roast the Fenugreek seeds and the Jeera seeds and powder it
3)Heat Gingelley oil in a kadai add mustard seeds and the ginger
5)Pour the grind Mix and when it starts boiling add the Chilli powder according to your taste
6)When the oil starts seperating add the fenugreek and jeera powder 1tsp

Superb Thakkali thokku,you can keep it for days.

Kadai Chicken

Kadai Chicken

Ingredients:

Chicken --1/2kg
Tomatoes-3 Medium size
Coriander seeds --1tblsp
Red chillies--7
Ginger Garlic paste -- 2 tsp
Oil--As required
Green chillies -2
Fenugreek seeds- jus a pinch(3 or 4 seeds)
Salt--As required
Garam Masala-1tsp

Procedure:
 1)Grind Coriander seeds and Redchillies in a mixie without adding water(i.e dry powder)
2)Heat Oil in a kadai .
3)Add the grinded powder, wait for 20 to 30 sec.dont make it turn black
4)add ginger garlic paste,wait till the raw smell goes.it may get stick into the kadai.keep stiring for not to stick in kadai.
5)next add the finely chopped tomatoes
6)wait till the tomatoes become pulpy, then add the green chillies and the coriander leaves and fenugreek seeds
7)Add salt to it and add the chicken.
8)Dont add water, chicken have to get cooked in oil to give the taste
9)when the chicken gets completely cooked add 1 tsp of garam masla powder or chicken powder.
10)wait for2 min and switch of the stove.

Yummy Chicken is Ready!


Spicy Tomato Chutney

Spicy Tomato Chutney




Ingredients
Tomato - 3
Onion   - 1
Garlic   -3 pods
Green Chillies-2
Gingelley oil -3 tsp
Chilly Powder--2tsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves--2 string
Salt--As required


Procedure :

1)Grind Tomatoes,onion,greenchillies,garlic in a mixer
2)Heat Gingelley oil in a kadai, season with mustard and curry leaves.
3)Add the grinded mix into the seasoned oil.
4)Also add chilli powder and salt according to the spicyness
5)Wait till the oil separates from the mixture.

Which can be used for Idli,Dosa,and chapathi.
